Our beautiful holiday rentals, Maremar, Marona and Marblava – something for everyone!

We have three beautiful holiday rentals on the Costa Brava, the first two that we and our family use quite a lot and the third that we acquired as an investment:

Maremar

Maremar, our beautiful holiday house, set in its own gardens overlooking the sea, is just outside Sant Feliu de Guixols town (just over a kilometer) in a green oasis of relative calm and tranquillity, surrounded by sea to the front, and pine forests all around.

It is our luxury offering with light, space and all comforts.

Although we have decided, in order to provide a luxury experience, to keep its maximum capacity is six, you can have your own configuration using its three ample double bedrooms (two across the whole width of the house on different floors) and one spacious twin.

It is within a small development created for the well-heeled of Barcelona to come for their weekend and other breaks, so it is not at all like a resort location.

The communal pool is enormous and only rarely busy. In fact most guests report that they frequently have it all to themselves. So, if you like to swim rather than just splash, it really is a bonus! Of course, it is great for little pones too, with it’s own paddling area and deep and shallow ends – fab!

Maremar has its own gardens on two levels, each boasting views like the one below.

Marona

Marona is our funky apartment, a quick stroll from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants in Sant Feliu de Guixols.

Again with large picture windows, you can sit out on the balcony watching the fishermen’s boats coming and going from the pretty fishing port.

It has two spacious bedrooms plus a really comfortable sofa bed in the living room. One of the doubles can be configured either as a twin or with a super king sized bed.

There are also two modern bathrooms with walk-in showers – lovely.

The communal pool is in a quadrangle in the centre of the apartment block, keeping it clean and sheltered.

With an internal parking space for a medium sized car and a store room for bikes, sports gear etc, you can have lots of fun at Marona!

Marblava – currently on long-term let

Marblava is currently being let long term to a local from sant Feliu de Guixols.

We will update this section should the situation change.

Now for our budget offering – a fabulous three bedroomed (two doubles, one twin) apartment, a little inland in Sant Feliu de Guixols. It is a fifteen minute walk to the centre and beach if you are not trying to beat records! And five minutes by car or bus.

Marblava is in a completely authentic residential area which means it is not heaving and is relatively quiet.

Because this is a Catalan home rather than a holiday apartment, it does not have air conditioning or a pool and this is reflected in our pricing. However, there are “industrial” portable fans in each room and the beach is really very close. It is ideal for families who like home comforts but are on a budget and for groups interested in the water sports, golf, hiking, biking and other pursuits available in and around Sant Feliu de Guixols.

It has a spacious living/dining room, good sized, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, patio and balcony. It also comes with a very large garage for those golf clubs, scuba gear and car (of course) as well as an on-street parking space.
