Here we show you just one of the walks near Maremar down to a tiny hidden cove at the bottom of the cliff. It is, like many of these coves, frequented by a few nudists, so you have been warned…
There are many of these coves for you to discover and we have only scratched the surface in all our years of visiting Maremar. This particular one is, we believe, fine to get to for adults of moderate mobility and sensible older children… Take a rucksack or two with your swimming things, some drinks, a small picnic, maybe snorkels and a camera. It takes maybe 20 minutes without rushing to get to the cove.
In summer the waters get very warm indeed close to the shore, it’s almost like taking a bath. Because of the rocks, you may want to take some rubber shoes to swim in. If the sea should happen to be having a rough day, be sensible and do not swim.
